Cantonese rice
-INGREDIENTS :
FOR 1 PORTION (S)
- 60 g (about 1 tablespoon) fresh pea pods.
- 15 to 20 g of omelet egg
- 1/2 carrot medium
- A piece of turkey ham.
- 20 g raw basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon crushed tomatoes
- 1 pinch of ground ginger
PREPARATION
IN 8 STEPS
- Prepare the rice: cook the rice in a saucepan of boiling water until it is soft. Drain and reserve.
- Prepare the vegetables: while the rice is cooking, wash, peel, rinse and grated the carrot (or cut it in very small quantities).
- Cook the carrot and peas in a pot of boiling water for at least 10 minutes. Peas must be tender (and carrots too).
- Prepare the egg: Beat 1 egg in an omelet and cook in a nonstick skillet. Cook the omelet perfectly without staining.
- Take 10 g omelet and cut into small pieces.
- Finish the recipe: put the oil in a high-sided pan to heat together all previously cooked ingredients.
- Cut the turkey ham into very small pieces.
- Season with a touch of ground ginger and mix if necessary (depending on baby’s chewing ability) and add 1 tablespoon of tomato crushed pieces. At table!
