Rice with almond milk & cinnamon
-INGREDIENTS :
FOR 2 BOWLS
- 150 g of round rice
- 1 liter of almond milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 small piece of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
PREPARATION
IN 5 STEPS
- Split the vanilla pod in half and collect the seeds.
- Pour in a saucepan over high heat almond milk with rice, cinnamon stick, sugar and vanilla pod (seeds and pod included). Mix with a spoon.
- When the milk boils, turn down the heat and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent the rice from catching.
- When the rice is flush with the milk, remove the pan from the heat and pour the almond milk rice into a serving dish or ramekins.
- Let cool at room temperature until tasting. The rice will finish imbibing milk while cooling.
